Conference season is high season in Vegas and as you'd expect the prices all go up for the tourists and visitor. in April, the weather is appealing and comfortably warm with 70's and 80's the norm. If you visit later in the summer, August onwards, you probably can find better deals but the heat can be oppressively hot.
